2025 Overall Winners

The 2025 Founder's Club consists of eight diligent members of our team. Representing seven different build areas, this choice group has dedicated a combined total of 63 years with Adams Homes. These folk never cheat the grind and serve as shining examples of what you can achieve here at Adams Homes. Trip photos at the end! 

Gary Farcus - General Manager, Orlando

Gary has been with Adams Homes since 2007 and has always stepped up to the plate when called upon. No matter the market conditions, Gary “strives for success and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.” 

Setina Hollis - Closing Coordinator, Jacksonville

With 26 years of service, Setina has consistently shown professionalism, commitment, and excellence. As a cornerstone of our closing department, her knowledge, attention to detail, and reliability ensure smooth, timely closings. Beyond her technical skill, Setina’s warmth and clarity inspire confidence in both colleagues and homebuyers.

Colby Seymoure - Production Manager, Huntsville

Colby has excelled in recruiting and retaining top talent. As a result, build times in Huntsville have decreased while quality has improved. He has effectively coached and guided his team to become the best production team possible.

Cory Barnett - Sales Manager, South Raleigh

Cory exemplifies the true qualities of leadership that uplift everyone around him. One of Cory’s best traits is his ability to develop others, guiding his team with patience, encouragement, and professionalism. His approach creates a safe environment to grow, never making his team feel inadequate or burdensome.

Federico Almonte - Superintendent, Spring Hill

Since joining Adams Homes in January 2022, Federico has made a positive impact on the Spring Hill division with his dedication and strong work ethic. He consistently meets deadlines and actively works to minimize build times and reduce costs.

Laurie Krall - Sales Agent, Lakeland

Laurie has made a remarkable impact since returning to Adams Homes, her follow-up and dedication to guiding clients through the home-buying process showcase her creativity and client-focused approach.

Leighton New - Cost Analyst, Corporate Admin

Leighton has been a dedicated member of Adams Homes for over five years. During this time, he has become an expert in our Costing Department and a valuable resource for all team members, thanks to his in-depth knowledge of every region. His team members appreciate his willingness to help and enjoy his wit.

Mike Lawrence - Director of Land Development, Spring Hill

Mike's contributions to the Garden Street team have made a positive difference to those who work with him. Whether it be day-to-day communications or discussions on significant deals, Mike is the one you know you can count on to get the job done. 

Founder's Club History

The Founder's Club was an idea created to recognize those who go above and beyond in their position as well as embodying the true essence of what our Founder, Wayne Adams, looked for in a team member. 

Each quarter, a member of the team is nominated by their peers to receive the distinction of being a Founder's Club member. From the quarterly nominations, an overall winner is chosen to fill each of the job roles listed above. The yearly winners are then invited with a guest to experience a unique city with Bryan Adams, our President. Some past destinations include, New Orleans, Austin, Miami, New York City and most recently the Florida Keys.

Kicking it in Key West

In true Adams Homes fashion, this year's trip landed in a place where there is nothing but fun and good vibes to be had. The team delighted in all of the iconic spots along Duval Street, soaked up some history at the Hemmingway House and ended each day around the table to indulge in local provisions. 

Our deepest gratitude goes out to everyone who is a part of the Founder's Club. Without these exceptional team members, Adams Homes wouldn't be able to continue our mission. Looking forward to many celebrations to come!

"It was a fantastic trip and definitely one to remember. The only downside was having to come back! 😊 My wife and I had an amazing time, thanks again to Bryan, Kyle and everyone who helped plan the trip. It was such a relaxing weekend, enjoyed some amazing food, great drinks with even better people! I think one of my favorite things was the dinner at the Bagatelle restaurant on Duval St., some great wine and swordfish in an old Victorian house under the sunset! Take me back lol.  I can’t help but mention the sweet moves Bryan had on the dance floor at Sloppy Joes afterwards." - Leighton New

"Getting to know all the other winners was the highlight for me. Constant laughter and good conversation at dinner was the best! I did get to go out for a few with Elizabeth Porter but we cut it short because it was sooooo hot and humid! The weekend was too short. - Setina Hollis

"It was a great time and a great opportunity to meet people from around the country whom all work for Adams Homes. It was incredible how well we all meshed considering we hadn’t met anyone prior to the Key West trip. As far as the island experience, visiting Fort Taylor & touring the various rum distilleries were my favorite spots. Both dinner reservations were excellent and Bryan made sure we didn’t go without. Felt like he ordered one of each appetizer, cocktails & wine that was on the menu! Overall it was a great experience and I hope to one day be apart of another." - Federico Almonte

"This year’s Adams Homes Founders Club trip to Key West was truly a memorable experience. It was an incredible opportunity to spend the weekend with other Founders Club award winners and celebrate the hard work and success of so many outstanding people across our company. One of the highlights for me was simply getting to slow down, build relationships, and get to know people outside of our normal work environment. I really enjoyed spending time with Mike from Garden Street, Elizabeth Porter from Florida, Kyle Nicholas and his wife, McKenzie, and many others. Those conversations allowed me to learn more about their experiences, their families, and what makes each of them such an important part of the Adams Homes team.

I especially appreciated the opportunity to spend time with Bryan. Hearing him share stories about his family, the company’s journey, and the experiences that have shaped Adams Homes gave me an even greater appreciation for the culture and values of the organization. It was a reminder that while we build homes, we’re ultimately in the business of building relationships. One of my favorite parts of the weekend was having my wife there with me. She hears me talk about my coworkers and leadership team all the time, but this gave her the chance to finally put faces with the names. Seeing everyone in a relaxed setting allowed her to experience firsthand the personalities, friendships, and culture that make Adams Homes such a special place to work.

I’m grateful to be part of a company that not only recognizes performance but also invests in its people and creates opportunities like this to strengthen relationships across the organization. The memories we made in Key West will stay with us for a long time, and I’m honored to have been part of this year’s Founders Club." - Cory Barnett
