My wife and I both turned 30 in 2025 and this is the second home we’ve contracted to build. The first house we built was in West Virginia with a builder that used the cheapest possible sub-contractors. So when I decided to take a new job in the Hickory, NC area, quality was at the top of our list. We planned out a week to go house shopping in July 2025. We visited 15-20 houses and builders before my wife stumbling upon Adams Homes Swann Hill neighborhood. Angie Dierks showed us around the model and one move-in ready. We immediately fell in love with their quality because the attention to detail was so prevalent. No house is perfect and there were some flaws found at the inspection but nothing major. Hunter, the super intendant, was very nice and addressed everything on the inspection report. I will be recommending Adams Homes in the future!
