Founder's Club 2022 Group Trip: Taking On Austin, Texas!

Each quarter one of our team members is nominated by their colleagues, for their respective positions, to be a part of our Founder's Club. As a part of this club, you are recognized for your ability to represent our values, express passion for customer service, and go the extra mile for your team.  

The annual overall winners of the 2022 Founder's Club were selected and had the opportunity to attend a weekend getaway with our President Bryan Adams, and a guest of their choice, as a reward for their outstanding work ethic and dedication to Adams Homes. This year the team was hosted in the bustling city of Austin, Texas! Each part of the trip was thoughtfully planned to have maximum enjoyment over the weekend and there were many highlights that the attendees are still raving about!

The group had the pleasure of staying at the historic hotel The Driskill, known for its premier status in Austin as well as its unique architecture. Centrally located in Downtown Austin, The Driskill served as the perfect place for a home base and allowed easy access to many attractions and good eats. 

The headliner of the trip was attending the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Featuring a diverse lineup of musical artists across 9 stages with 100+ performers as well as a food court packed with the best vendors of Austin and the surrounding areas. The 2022 Founder's Club made the most of the festival and saw some legendary artists including The Revivalists, Kendrick Lamar, The Lumineers, and more! There were also many unique photo ops that the team certainly enjoyed!

The group then had some free time the following day to get out and explore the city of Austin. In addition to the lively neighborhoods and historical sights, there was a rare solar eclipse that made this trip even more memorable. Many enjoy watching the eclipse from alongside the Colorado River with a stellar view of some modern architecture in Downtown Austin. Some members of the group even made their way to The University of Texas campus as well as the Capitol Building! Later that evening the team met up for dinner reservations at Banger's, famous for house-made Tex-German sausage and beer!
