Adams Process

Seamless Process

Often, the most daunting part of purchasing a new home is not the build, but the initial decision of where and what you want your home to be. Will it be one-story or two? How many bedrooms? What school district do you want to be in? How far is the commute to work? These questions and more present themselves during this process and we’re here to help guide you through them.

1

Step 1: Find a Community

The first step is figuring out where you want to be. Do you want to be in a certain city, county, or school district? Do you want a community with amenities? All of this information can be found by clicking find a new home above and entering in your search filters. Want a little more guidance? Reach out to one of our Online Community Specialists by filling out a contact form or interacting with the chat icon below (it’s manned by a real person, we promise!)

Step 2: Find a Floorplan

Once you have a community of interest in mind, the next step is figuring out what specifications you need in a home. How many bedrooms and bathrooms does it need?

From there, you can filter out smaller and larger plans and focus on your wants in a home. Do you want a main-floor owner’s suite? Maybe you’d like a flex room perfect for a home office? You’ll be able to see the structural details of all of our homes online (along with some pictures!) so that you’re prepared when you go visit the community.

Step 3: Visit the Model

This leads us to the last step; visiting one of our model homes! Most of our communities have a model home with a Sales Associate ready to welcome you to the neighborhood. Visiting the model is the best way to see what your future home will look like! This is also the perfect place to ask more exact questions about included features, homesite availability, and financing. Regardless if you’re just beginning your new-home search or have already lined up financing and have a homesite in mind, our Sales Associates are ready to guide you through our simplified purchase process.

If you’d like to set a VIP appointment to see one of our model homes or communities, you can schedule it here.

Step 4: Structural

Once a home has been approved for building, the structural elements of the home are put in place. This includes laying the foundation, framing the home, and starting the exterior finishings.

5

Step 5: Interior

This step is when your home will get all its functionality. Electrical and plumbing will be run, drywall will be placed, and doors will be hung. Your house is nearing completion with only one step left!

6

Step 6: Finishes

This is where your design choices come to life! Cabinets and countertops will be installed, walls will be painted, floors will be laid and the house will start to look like a home!
