Fall has arrived, and with that: football, cooler mornings, darker evenings, and the allure of the warmer comforts of home.  What better way to warm up than with a fireplace in your home?

Fireplaces made easy. No wood logs necessary!

Did you know?  It is possible to have a fireplace installed in your new or existing home with an electric fireplace.  One of our favorites are made by Dimplex.  Electric fireplaces are an affordable, attractive, and energy efficient way to create the warmth and ambience of a gas or wood burning fire.  In fact, electric fireplaces have zero emissions so your indoor air quality is healthy and safe.  Don't worry about increased power bills, these electric fireplaces run on 120 Volts/1440 Watts, that is comparable to a light bulb.  Snuggle up! These fireplaces actually provide heat in a zone of up to 400 square feet.

Okay, enough of the specifics, how does it look?  Dimplex has created electric fireplaces to look authentic with a realistic flames set, pulsating logs and refractory brick interior.  The look is beautiful and it is so simple.  A trim kit completes the look surrounding the firebox.   Glass doors are a perfect option to maintain the integrity of the fireplace.

No, you can’t roast marshmallows, but it is relaxation and ease you want.  These fireplaces can be set into the wall or purchased with an attractive cabinet or mantle display. It easily operates on a handheld remote.  You may even turn the heat off just to get the esthetic of the flame!   An electric fireplace adds the warmth and style of a traditional fireplace while upholding the energy efficiency and simplicity necessary for today.

If you live near Central Florida (or are in town visiting for the holidays) be sure to visit the Adams Homes model home in Black Bear Reserve, located in Eustis to check it out in person.
