Football season is upon us and we have the perfect crowd pleasing recipe for your next football party, “The Perfect Salsa”.
Some salsa tends to become hotter after being refrigerated, but “The Perfect Salsa” recipe still taste just as perfect as it was on the first bite, even after spending time in the refrigerator.
- 1 can (28oz) Whole tomato
- 2 cans (10oz) rotel tomato
- ¼ cup onion chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 whole jalapeno or jarred jalapeno
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. sugar
- ¼ tsp. cumin
- ½ cup cilantro –fresh
- ½ whole lime
Combine whole tomato, rotel tomato, onion, jalapeno, garlic, sugar, salt, cumin, lime juice, and cilantro into blender. Pulse until you get the salsa consistency you like. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Use with your favorite corn chips. We love "Scoops" style chips so you can get a big taste of salsa in every bite.
