In that first year there were 374 registrants and last year there were 5,584 and a predicted 100,000 plus people viewing or participating. Cruisers come from all over the United States and Canada.

The event takes place all along the MS coast in Pascagoula, Biloxi, Gulfport, Long Beach and Pass Christian with parades, soc hops, live entertainment, raffles, auction and swap meets; not to mention all the great food that the Coast is known for.

Cruisin’ the Coast has become the largest special event in the state of Mississippi and has won many honors and awards from the tourism industry.

With all the special events planned that get bigger every year it’s important to realize what brings the Cruisers back year after year. It’s the people of the Gulf Coast and their “Southern Hospitality”.
